ABOUT THE SPMB
Specialized Construction Investment Project Management Board of Ministry of Construction (SPMB)
We are a public administrative unit under the Ministry of Construction, operating under the mechanism for exercising financial autonomy compliance.
SPMB, formerly known as the Construction Investment Project Management Board of the National Assembly House and Ba Dinh Hall (new) was formed in 1997, and officially established in 2002. On February 12, 2018, the Project Management Board was re-organized by the Minister of Construction, on the basis of merger of the Investment Project Management Board of the National Assembly House and Ba Dinh (new) and the Construction Investment Project Management Board. Over 25 years of establishment and development, the Project Management Board has become the sole representative of the Ministry of Construction, in Managing many key national projects; and in Management consulting for many state budget, non-state budget and private funding projects.

Qualifications
Today, the staff of the Project Management Board is composed of over 50 people including 02 BIM Project Manager, 25 postgraduates, 42 are bachelor graduates and equivalent in all fields of study: Architecture, urban planning, civil and industrial construction, construction engineering, road construction, waterway, geodesy, irrigation, electrification, fine arts, economics, foreign languages, IT, etc.
Competences
The SPMB has been certified as Category I in the fields of Construction Investment Project Management and Construction Cost Management. The SPMB team of experts has completed construction practice certificates in: the fields of Project Management (11 person); Construction Design (09 persons), Construction Supervision (11persons); Supervision and Installation of Technology Equipment (05 people); Construction Valuation (15 persons) and Bidding Practices (11 persons);
Especially, there are the first experts who have been certified BIM Project Manager by the Vietnam and United Kingdom Collaboration BIM Program (The UK Government’s Global Infrastructure Programme (GIP) a part of Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO).

The SPMB owns a strong team of professional experts, honest and dedicated to the profession. In which most experts have experience of over 10 years, many experts have professional expertise’s over 20 years.
Management Experiences
Throughout the progress of gaining experiences and striving forwards, the SPMB has been playing the roles of the developer, representative of the developer, project management consultant for many projects of Group A, Group B, Special Grade, National Grade Projects, and many other projects.

To undertake Entrusted Project Management or Project Management Consultancy for Construction Investment Projects funded by any capital sources, in accordance with the provisions of law.
Services
To provide Consultancy Services in BIM and Contractor Selection; Construction Supervision; Examination of Construction Design Survey Dossiers, Construction Design Reviews and Construction Cost Estimating; Control the dossiers on the Preacceptance test, Payment and Settle-ment of completed volumes in the construction industry.
R&D
To research, proposing scientific research projects and implementing them according to the approved plan.
Joint venturing
To enter into joint ventures with organizations and individuals in the area of Construction Investment to carry out the works, meeting the needs of the society.
